They Wanted to Keep Her!

HA Ha :) We went to the Columbus Zoo yesterday for a couple of hours, we pretty much wore Ryan out, but we had a great time. I had to attend a meeting in Columbus today so we took a little overnight vacation and visited the zoo yesterday and stayed overnight in a hotel and I went to my meeting today.

Ryan was pretty much worn out by the time we got home today because he kept Aubrey in the hotel this morning and then on the lawn outside the building where I had my meeting after lunch this afternoon. Aubrey thought the air coming from this thing was great!

Ryan is feeling pretty well. All his numbers were looking good on Monday morning when he was at the doctor. He goes again tomorrow to have numbers checked again. We're hoping that he doesn't have to get any extra blood this round. So far, things are going well.

We thank everyone who purchased tickets for the dinner or raffle, there has been an overwhelming response. Hope to see you out on Friday picking up your meals!

  1. Should have known Ryan would where his Michigan gear to C-bus! I took the boys to Indy Zoo on Monday. Its a great summer thing to do with the little one. Thanks for sharing. Thoughts and prayers are with Ryan and the whole family.

  2. That sounded like a fun mini vacation! Glad to hear that you all had fun, Aubrey looks so cute, thanks for posting the pics! Going to the zoo and having an overnight stay is something that we want to get done too, as soon as the weather cooperates and we can get our oats hay baled.

Too bad we didn't get to see you at Poultry Days. I don't even know if you felt up to attending, but you can tell Ryan that I checked and his name is still posted up in the hallway by the gym for his record breaking 5 second quick pin in wrestling (gosh, I hope I got that right!) If you did go to Poultry Days, I'm sure that Ryan showed Aubrey!

Looking good in the pictures, Ryan, you keep fighting and we'll keep praying and praying. You are in our thoughts so very often! Looking forward to the pork loin dinners, I think my mom is planning on buying our whole family some and that is going to be our dinner for our Father's Day party!

We'll say extra prayers that God will send many blessings to Ryan and your whole family this Father's Day! Enjoy your first Father's Day, Ryan!! We'll be thinking of you.

    God Bless,
    Alan, Vickie, Simon and Eli

  3. It was good to see you at the game last week-trying to give pointers to the less talented ones! Ha Ha We plan to see you on Friday at the dinner-you have touched a lot of lives, as shown by the response to the dinner, raffle and blood drive. Who would have known? Just kidding.
